Angel

Angel is a Mustang. She was born wild in Nevada, but was rounded up and adopted while she was still fairly young. In 2014 she was abandoned. Many wonderful people pitched in to help with her rescue and care, and eventually she was adopted.

She has been a part of the Stride Ahead Equine Therapy team—in EAP, EAL and Stress Relief sessions—since 2016. Her upbringing within a family herd, as well as her natural wild instincts, give her a unique set of social skills, both with humans and other horses.
